Vendays is found in 'the heart of our nature' boarded by forest and marshlands, of a quality that we call; 'unspoilt nature'. The village is made up of a few shops, 2 schools, bars, restaurants, the local council offices and the rest that helps to keep a village of 2.000 inhabitants running on course.
8 km to the west, with its feet touching the ocean, the village of Montalivet nestled between the forest and the dunes of the Atlantic Ocean coastline is found. A seaside resort with fine sand beaches catering for families and kids, very active in the spring, summer and autumn months, with a list of activities running from surfing to archery.
